Missions

Our mission work is extensive and involves people of all ages and abilities as they meet needs here and in other countries. Through the general budget of the church and various yearly fund raising projects, over $100,000.00 is given to various mission causes.

Presbyterian Church U.S.A. receives financial support for General Assembly, Synod, and Presbytery missions. We also contribute to the Joy Offering and One Great Hour of Sharing Offering of the denomination. Our Presbyterian Women support the work of Presbyterian Women nationally.

Local Missions include an area Hispanic Ministry, Youth for Christ, Heifer Project, Midnight Runs to NYC to feed and clothe the homeless, Holmes Conference Center, Hope for the Future (Church Without Walls in NYC), CROP Walk for Hunger, Peconic Campus Ministry, Heart of the Hamptons Food Pantry and Clothing Store, Habitat for Humanity, The Retreat for battered women, high school scholarships, Princeton Seminary Scholarship Fund, and the Warren Wilson College Student Scholarship Fund.

World Missions includes Thailand Medical Missions Hospital, Medical Benevolence Mission in Kenya, Operation Christmas Child, Our sister church in Los Palos, Cuba and sponsored children in the Dominican Republic.

Missionaries we support are The Nelsons in the Dominican Republic and the Browns in Nicaragua.

Mission Trips currently send two groups each year to the Dominican Republic. Our senior high young people build houses in Mexico in the summer.
